Peter obtained his B.Sc (Hons) in Microbiology from University of Malaya in 1992 and a Doctor of Philosophy (D.Phil) in Biochemistry/Molecular Biology from Exeter College, University of Oxford in 1998. He was a Research Scientist, and Head of Microarray Group with A-Star Bioprocessing Technology Institute in Singapore (2001 to 2010) prior to joining the Faculty of Engineering, Computing and Science, Swinburne University of Technology Sarawak Campus. His areas of expertise are molecular and cellular biology, system biology and genomics with specialization in high throughput gene expression profiling using DNA microarray and Next-Gen sequencing technologies. He has a H-index of 15 and have published journal papers and book chapters, in the subject area of genomics and gene expression analysis.

Caroline Lee graduated with PhD from Baylor College of Medicine and did her post-doctoral training at the National Cancer Institute, National Institutes of Health. She currently also holds joint appointment as Principal Investigator at the National Cancer Centre as well as an Associate Professor at the Cancer and Stem Cell Biology Program at Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School. She has ~100 peer reviewed publications and research focuses on the functional genomics of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) and pharmacogenetics.

Carrie Yuen is a Hong Kong native and a board certified internist and pediatrician. She has many years of clinical practice experience and has a particular interest in immunology and translational research on cellular therapy. Her passion is to improve the understanding of disease process, GVHD, and to investigate potential application of cellular therapy in the field of transplant with a goal of improving overall survival and minimize toxicity of current transplant regimens. She joined the faculty at the Stephenson Cancer Center in 2012. She is an assistant professor in the Section of Hematology/Oncology and works primarily with the Blood and Marrow Transplant Program.

Dr. Lingzhi Wang is a Senior Research Scientist at the Cancer Science Institute of Singapore and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacology, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore (NUS). Dr. Wang obtained his M.Med. in Medicinal Chemistry from Chongqing Medical University in 1993. He continued his postgraduate studies in NUS and obtained his M.Sc. in Pharmacy and Ph.D. in Pharmacology in 2003 and 2008, respectively. Dr. Wang received the Medical Research Scientist Award from the National Medical Research Council (NMRC Singapore) in 2005, and the PhD Graduate Research Excellence Award from the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists (AAPS) at its Annual Meeting in 2008 (USA). To date, he is the author of over 70 research papers, including articles in Cell, Journal of Clinical Oncology, Clinical Cancer Research, Trends in Pharmacology, and Trends in Biotechnology etc.

His research interests are in the development of novel combination therapies against a variety of cancers, identification of anticancer agents from natural products, preclinical cancer pharmacology, and discovery of bio-fluid exosomal biomarkers for cancer diagnosis.

Dr. Sharma serves as Consultant OncoPathologist at SRL Diagnostics. He has in the past served as Consultant Onco-pathologist, molecular pathologist and Head of Quality assurance at CORE Diagnostics, Gurgaon. He has done MBBS from Manipal with distinction in 5 subjects, an aggregate percentage of 73% with highest marks in Pathology. He has trained in oncopathology at HCG Cancer Hospital, Bangalore from where he completed his primary DNB. He was previously working as Block Chief Medical Officer with Govt. of Rajasthan. He is an expert orator and has delivered talks as Guest speaker at numerous forums nationally like Indian Cancer Congress, YROC, Oncocon, BCFICON etc and internationally at numerous conferences like PathSoc (UK), Nigerian Medical Association, Bangladesh Association of haematologists etc. He has had the distinction of being the faculty, mentor for the First national Hands on IHC workshop of the country, held at JNMC, Belgavi at the 36th National Pathology CME. He recently presented his study on 156 cases of Diffuse large B cell lymphomas with double and triple hit at International Lymphoma and Myeloma congress, New York. He has numerous publications in national and international journals like South Africal Journal of Gynecological oncology, RCPATH and Archives of Pathology including the first reported case of cellular ovarian fibroma from India and presentations at conferences like College of American Pathologists (CAP, Chicago), International Society of Paediatric Oncology (SIOP) (Kyoto, Japan) and Myanmar Society of Hematology. He has had the distinction of reporting nearly 500 cases of lymphomas annually. He is a member of numerous organisations like Indian Association of Pathologists and The Cytometry Society of India. His main areas of work include Oncopathology, IHC, Lymphomas, Flowcytometry and Molecular assays in cancer.

Dr. Daniel Gandia is a Clinical Oncologist that has been and is involved in Cancer Medicine for many years. He is involved in the guidance of Clinical Oncology Trials in an important worldwide American CRO. He has published several papers in important Journals and he also teaches Cellular and Molecular Biology at the School of Medicine in Buenos Aires. Mathematical Oncology has become in last years a quiz for him.
